She considers Marilyn Monroe as her idol, and has an undying passion for collecting the trendiest of shoes out there in the fashion world. In fact, Liz considers her vast collection of footwear as her most-priced possession. She firmly believes in the saying that a person’s footwear says a lot about his/her character, and personality.
Her collection of shoes includes all shapes, forms, categories, and models from leading brands, functional daily wears, ankle boots, and even the less expensive ones that everyday women can wear to work-place, as well as other occasions.
Passion to Help the Needy
Liz Rehnke is much more than a shoe buff and a fashion doll. She has always worked hard towards facilitating, and helping the needy. The passion for serving the destitute comes from her father who himself was a cardiac and vascular surgeon and a philanthropist. Her father, Dr. Ernest Rehnke was awarded with one of the most distinguished surgeon’s award. He always worked towards serving people in backward regions so that people there could lead a healthy life. His daughter was always by his side, and has acted voluntarily to help the needy. This is where the humanitarian in Liz was born and since then she always dreamed of removing poverty, and improving the quality of life of the poor.
Both her parents conducted medical sessions in different backward countries every summer. It was during these sessions when Liz accompanied her parents, and discovered her passion to serve the destitute. Right at a tender age of 11, she saw how poor people in backward countries suffered from injuries, diseases etc., and how lack of care worsened their situation. Since those days, Elizabeth Rehnke has been working consistently to help the needy thus far.
Liz has been working towards offering financial relief for medical care. Through her endeavors, many people in countries like Kenya, Haiti, Ecuador, Honduras, and Guatemala were benefited. The African countries have millions of people suffering from diseases and epidemics for years together but there is no proper Medicare plan in place. Liz Rehnke is also associated with many leading NGOs, medical networks, and social organizations around the globe. It is with the help of these kinds of groups and organizations that Liz offers help to people in many countries.
